Announcements Weekly May 29, 2018

1. Something Special – This Thursday at 12:15, we will show a 37-minute video featuring the ministry of Amir Tsarfati, from Israel. You will get a perspective on what is happening in the Middle East that you will never hear on the news. We are showing it on the lunch hour so that some could see it then.

2. Our Celebration Dinner was truly a celebration of all that God has done for us this past year. Many thanks to all who worked so hard in putting it together. Extra thanks to our friends from nCourage who helped us. We love you and appreciate you.

3. Don’t Miss This Event – Wednesday, June 20th at 7 PM, we will have the Men’s Quartet from God’s Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will love their music. Invite your friends.

4. A Word of Explanation – This last Sunday, we showed a short video clip of a new ministry that has been launched near Colorado Springs. It is known as “Rugged Cross Miracle Ranch”. They use mini-sized animals to help people with special needs. Sheldon and Debbie DeWitt have launched this ministry. They would appreciate your prayers.

5. Our newest ministry is the shuttle service, using a wonderful six-passenger golf cart. We want to give a lift to those who have trouble walking. We need several people as drivers. If you could help, please let us know at the office and we will put you in touch with our security team.

6. Small Groups – We have some people who are already in Small Groups and they couldn’t say enough of the blessings they experience. As your pastor, I really want to encourage you to consider joining in a group. Bill and Pat Abeyta are the coordinators for this ministry. See them on Sunday to get signed up.

7. A word about Prayer Requests given on Sunday morning. Sometimes people give us a request, but do not want their names mentioned for privacy reasons. That is the reason you sometimes hear a request without a name.

8. This Sunday, we will be having a time of prayer and anointing for people with special needs. We will also be celebrating Communion together. These are such special times, I hope you can be present.

9. Please pray for Brian and Rachel Weed, missionaries to Nicaragua. There is growing Civil unrest in the country. We have recently sent them funds so they can buy food for the pastors, their families and the people in the churches.

10. A Community Event – The Ventura County Concert Band presents a free “A Summer Potpourri”, Sunday, June 3rd at 3 PM. Ventura High School Auditorium. For information: 805-289-7925
